  9 Miles East has become a really important part of meal planning during the week. It is important to have healthy and tasty food in our house. I've got bandwidth of cooking most days, but I discovered that I run out of steam on Thursdays and Fridays. Enter 9 Miles East! At first I thought it was going to be a little pricey, but I did the math (counting my time in the kitchen) and it actually works out beautifully-- and I get my time back. This is ESPECIALLY true if I default to pizza on Friday night because I'm exhausted from the week.
  
  We order a combination of salads and soups each week. You can choose vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, paleo, and "normal"! We get gluten free and vegetarian meals, and each salad is full of delicious whole grains and pulses, fresh spinach, seasonal veggies, delightful flavor combinations. There are delicious extra-virgin olive oil-based dressings (always super fresh). You don't have to eat them as salads either! You can fry them lightly for the warm salad approach. I've made soups out of them also. You are only limited by your creativity... that is to say, there are no limits!! If I lived closer, I would eat out at Saratoga Apple once a week. No joke.

  Thankful to my mother for giving me two weeks of food delivery service at 9 Miles East as a Christmas gift. I was so pleased with their service I have continued the subscription moving forward. Give them a try, you will not be dissatisfied. Place is a local gem.
